Looking classy for sure. For those who are not familiar with Princeton traditions, Houseparties are an eating clubs’ three-day festival at the end of spring term during which each club has a Friday night formal, a Saturday night semiformal and a champagne brunch on Sunday morning.

Guys are usually wearing tuxedoes, and girls try to stick to formal cocktail dresses. For this TI spring formals I chose a classy Zara dress from their new spring-summer collection. The heels are from Cheap Monday and the clutch is Just Cavalli.

My favorite trend of this season is definitely a mini skirt on tops. H&M did a great job in introducing these kinds of tops into their line. If you decide to buy a top like that (they have pink ones in H&M now) don’t forget to wear either skinny pants or a skinny skirt with it, otherwise it’ll be to much volume.

As we are still hoping for sunny days to finally reach New Jersey, it is time to think of casual outfits for the days of class. Check out my friends’ spring outfit choices. I love Milly’s graphic leggings and big brown sunglasses. Lili’s “lawnparties” styled dress goes well together with a waist belt.

Hotel Ritz in Paris has aways been a symbol of luxury and good taste. If I was ever to choose a thing that distinguishes Europeans from Americans, I would choose this hotel. The splendor and grandeur of the Ritz and its interior design would never go along with any American skyscraper.

In its April issue Vogue made Kate Moss pose for a photo shoot in the Ritz wearing this season’s Haute Couture costumes (photocredit to Tim Walker). Luxuriousness of the Ritz together with the outcry of magnificent dresses lead us to the wonderful world of European dazzle and chic.

My favorite trend from the season Spring/Summer 2012 is flowers and forrest. Fashionistas today don’t mind wearing these patterns on both pants and shirt at the same time. I was a little bit more timid and wore only floral H&M pants with my favorite black Cheap Monday sweater.

So, I’ve finally decided to post the photos from our pre-spring break shopping spree with Lili in NYC. We got some stuff from H&M, Topshop, Express and other Soho stores. I loved Marni for H&M collection and their tropical line! I also purchased earlier online Cheap Monday wedges, which make me now look like a giant, because their heels are 20 cm tall! But they are still comfortable, and I managed to go shopping in them and survive.

Among all existing designers the one I always follow is Chanel. And it’s not without a reason. Karl Lagerfeld never makes mistakes. His every collection is unique and inspiring. This fall’s ready-to-wear show has many new forms and ideas. My favorite is definitely the blue pants that peek out of gothic coats. Also, the new Lagerfeld blue is a color for the next fall season. It is deep and perfect for fall, but also it substitutes my favorite black pretty well.

Enjoy the main trends from Chanel that I prepared for you, and the single that played at the show (Michel Gaubert soundtracked the proceedings with a not-yet-released number by Tristesse Contemporaine).

It seems like bloggers around the world got obsessed with the Christian Louboutin designed studded loafers. Romwe and Jeffrey Campbell hurried up to copy the style, so now Lookbook and other street style directories are overrun with fashionista’s wearing loafers. In addition Jeffrey Campbell made multiple designs with studs, including leopard print and pink leather, so that one can have a choice. If you are adventurous enough and have some money to spend, I would say go for these shoes.
